PURPOSE: To confirm the use condition of an ink paper, by providing a counter for counting and indicating the number of sheets of paper for which the ink paper is used, on a shaft on the side opposite to a part at which an ink paper shaft on a cassette is supplied with a torque from a printer.
CONSTITUTION: An ink paper 3 is wound around a shaft 6, which is rotated as the ink paper 3 is used. The rotation of the shaft 6 rotates a worm gear 9 provided coaxially with the shaft 6, and the worm gear 9 rotates a spur gear 11, whereby the rotation of the shaft 6 is transmitted with a speed reduction. The rotation of the spur gear 11 is transmitted through a shaft 52 to a worm gear 10, and a feed screw 49 threaded on the inside thereof is moved according to the rotation of the worm gear 10. A scale-pointer 26 is written on the feed screw 49 to indicates the residual number of sheets of paper for which the ink paper 3 can be used. With such an ink paper cassette, it is possible to store the number of sheets of paper for which an ink paper is used and the residual amount of the ink paper, based on a cassette unit.
