This ink recorder comprises a slit type opening section 17, a support body for forming a liquid chamber for containing ink by communicating with the opening section 17, recording electrodes 15 arranged on one face of the liquid chamber at predetermined intervals, a counter electrode 11 provided opposite to the recording electrodes in the opening section 17, a driving circuit for applying a predetermined voltage across the recording electrodes 15 and the counter electrode 11, and a conveying means 21 for moving the recording paper 19. Auxiliary electrodes are provided to positions each corresponding to the respective recording electrodes 15 at intervals the same as those of the recording electrodes 15 on two faces parallel to the face having the recording electrodes 15 on the support body forming a recording head 22 where the liquid chamber is not provided.
