Title:
INK, RECORDING METHOD, RECORDING UNIT, INK CARTRIDGE, AND RECORDING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2005089737
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an ink having a satisfactory performance as an inkjet recording ink, without causing clogging, nor deposition of a colorant, in a discharge orifice part, and capable of preventing the ink smearing, even when a picture image printed on coated paper, etc., is allowed to stand under a high-temperature humid condition for a long time.

This ink comprises an inkjet ink containing a water, the water-soluble colorant having a molecular weight of ≤600 in a form of a free acid, two or more kinds of water-soluble organic solvents, and a urea compound, wherein two kinds of the water-soluble organic solvents have each a vapor pressure lower than that of water at 25°C, the water-soluble organic solvents include a solvent A in which a solubility of the colorant is higher than a solubility of the colorant in water, when a solubility of the colorant in each of the water-soluble organic solvents is compared with the solubility of the colorant in the water, and a solvent B in which a solubility of the colorant is lower than or equal to the solubility of the colorant in the water, and a difference between the solubility in the solvent A and the solubility in the solvent B is 10% or more. A recording method and a recording device use the ink, respectively.
