To ensure a high revolving power by providing an ink jet recorder with means for irradiating insulating ink with light and flying ink for writing an image on a recording medium from an ejecting part thereby eliminating blur.
A recording head 1 comprises a first insulating basic material 5 having gradually decreasing shape, and a second insulating basic material 4 disposed oppositely thereto while spaced apart therefrom wherein a beveled part 8 is formed at the forward end part of the second insulating basic material 4. A plurality of individual electrodes, i.e., ejection electrodes 2, are arranged as means for forming an electrostatic field at an ejecting part on the upper face part 3 making an acute angle to the beveled part 8. The ejection electrodes 2 are arranged to project from the forward end of the first insulating basic material 5. The ejection electrodes 2 are connected with a bias power supply 12 and insulating ink 7 on the ejection electrodes 2 is irradiated with light L and flown to write an image on a recording medium.
