To provide a printing machine capable of cleaning and removing ink remaining in ink ducts (20, 22, 24) for connecting an ink fountain (16) to an ink supply source (18) in a short time.
The printing machine (10) comprises the ink fountain (16), the ink supply source (18) and the ink ducts (20, 22, 24) for connecting the ink fountain (16) to the ink supply source (18) so that ink can be circulated to carry out printing by using the ink which is supplied from the ink supply source (18) and stored in the ink fountain (16). The printing machine (10) has further an ink-removing means for removing the ink remaining in the ink duct (16). Then, the ink removing means has gas flow supplying means (26A, 26B, 26C) for generating a gas flow of a flow amount sufficient for removing the ink sticking to inner walls of the ink ducts (20, 22, 24) in the downstream direction from the ink fountain (16) in the ink ducts (20, 22, 24).
