To accurately, repeatedly adhere an ink of a predetermined thickness to an ink fountain roller by dividing a blade into edges of the blade and a plurality of adjacent sectors, and shifting the sectors as pairs in a plane of the blades in parallel with each other.
The blade is divided into a plurality of adjacent sectors 11 changing at an interval between an edge 12 of the blade and a periphery of an ink fountain roller 6. A specific unit is provided to shift the respective sectors 11. The specific unit has a cam 23 which is coupled to a motor 21. The cam 23 is installed in a corresponding slot 24 in each sector 11, and mounted at a spindle 22 of the motor 21. The motor 21 itself is mounted at a bottom 4 of an ink reservoir, and fixed by screws 25, 26. Thus, a computer control means is coupled to the unit, and positions of the respective sectors 11 are aligned and regulated to a printing amount.
