PURPOSE: To enable control of printed density and contrive a longer useful life of an ink ribbon cartridge, by supporting an ink-supplying roller on a cartridge casing so that the center shaft thereof can be moved.

CONSTITUTION: An ink ribbon 23 is fed between a transfer roller 20 and a follower roller 21 by a pressing force between the rollers. An ink is transferred from an ink-supplying roller 18 to the ink ribbon 23 by the transfer roller 20. When an eccentric shaft 17b is rotated, the overlap quantity (h) of the ink- supplying roller 18 (which is elastic) and the transfer roller 20 can be controlled, since a center shaft 17a is eccentric with respect to the shaft 17b. Once the overlap quantity (h) is set, a pawl 19 is engaged in a groove 17c of the shaft 17b, whereby the overlap quantity (h) is maintained. Thereafter, as an ink ribbon is fed, the roller 6 is rotated with the center shaft l7a as a center, and transfers the ink to the transfer roller 20.
