Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink ribbon cassette and a printer capable of achieving sensing by an ink ribbon sensor and a sheet detection sensor stably, without adding a complicated structure or a special member.SOLUTION: A portion (201) which is a reflection surface (201a) opposing a marker detection sensor (140) of an ink ribbon is formed of resin colored with white pigment, on a case forming a housing of the ink ribbon cassette. A portion (203) which faces a sheet detection sensor (141) is formed of resin colored with pigment including carbon black.
