To provide an ink ribbon cassette which can prevent an image printed from an ink omission part of an ink ribbon from being specified.
The ink ribbon cassette 20 includes: the ink ribbon 30 having a substrate layer 35 and an ink layer 36; a delivering part 23 for delivering the ink ribbon 30; a winding-up part 24 for winding up the ink ribbon 30; and a tape feeding part 41 provided near the winding-up part 24 and feeding a tape 42 stuck on the ink ribbon 30. The tape 42 has a tape substrate 52 and an adhesive layer 53 provided on the side of the tape substrate 52 brought into contact with the ink layer 36 of the ink ribbon 30. Among them, the tape substrate 52 consists of the same color as that of the ink layer 36 and has a predetermined geometrical pattern. Meanwhile, the adhesive layer 53 is formed of a transparent adhesive material.
