To provide an ink ribbon winding apparatus of a printer, which suppresses cost increase due to a complicated apparatus structure, is hardly influenced by temperature or humidity, and prevents generation of such a defect as a wrinkle on an ink sheet to cause printing unevenness or color shift, because a tension of the ink sheet is changed according to an ink bobbin winding diameter.

The printer ink ribbon winding apparatus is provided with: an ink supply bobbin 3 which an ink sheet 2 is wound around and supplies the ink sheet 2; and a wind-up bobbin 14 which winds up the ink sheet 2, rotation driven via a torque limiter 10. The wind-up bobbin 14 is constituted of: a column-shaped wind-up bobbin core 8; and wind-up bobbin sliding parts 7 which are protruded on the circumference of the wind-up bobbin core 8 and freely movable in a direction perpendicular to the circumference.
