Abstract:

To provide an ink-jet type ink set for color filters stably used for the manufacture of color filters appropriately displaying a clear image for use in an image display device; and a manufacturing method of color filters stably manufacturing the color filters appropriately displaying a clear image for use in an image display device.

This ink set used for manufacturing color filters by ink jet method which have color parts in their multiple cells provided on a base plate, wherein the color parts have color films and resin films. This ink set is provided with first ink including colorant and a first liquid medium in which colorant is dispersed and/or dissolved, and second ink for forming a resin film by being discharged to the same cells to those of the color ink, and is characterized in that the second ink includes a resin material and a second liquid medium for dispersing and/or dissolving the resin material.
