Abstract:
To provide a set composed of an ink for recording with reduced color bleeding even when recorded on a plain paper.
This ink set for ink jet recording comprises a black ink and a color ink and the black ink and the color ink respectively contain at least water, a colorant and a water-soluble organic solvent. The water-soluble organic solvent contained in the black ink and color ink is different in mutual solubility parameter by ≥4. In any of the inks, the water-soluble organic solvent is contained in the second largest amount to the water.
