Abstract:
To provide an ink set comprising an inkjet ink and a treatment liquid, the ink set capable of forming high image quality printed matter with excellent coat durability and drying properties without image defects such as color mixing or insufficient filling, regardless of printing conditions, such as printing speed and recording resolution, and recording media.SOLUTION: The ink set comprises an inkjet ink and a treatment liquid used together with the inkjet ink. The inkjet ink contains a pigment, a water-soluble organic solvent, a surfactant, and water. The water-soluble organic solvent contains a glycol ether-based organic solvent having a specific structure, and the processing liquid contains a flocculant. The flocculant contains 6.8-20.8 mass% of calcium nitrate relative to the total amount of the treatment liquid, and the amount of compounds contained in the treatment liquid that have three or more hydroxyl groups is less than or equal to 15 mass% relative to the total amount of the treatment liquid.SELECTED DRAWING: None
