Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the title ink sheet improved in anti-sticking properties and capable of forming an image having no printing irregularity.
CONSTITUTION: An ink sheet for thermal transfer recording is constituted by providing a thermal transfer ink layer on a support and a lubricating layer containing boron carbide and/or boron nitride and further containing a silicone resin according to circumstances is provided to the surface opposite to the ink layer of the support.
