PURPOSE: To provide an ink supplier capable of supplying a fixed quantity of an ink irrespectively of variations in receiving characteristics of rollers under effects of damping water and favorable in digestion of the ink at the roller group, by a method wherein an ink is atomized in a jet form, and is supplied to ink rollers.
CONSTITUTION: An ink is supplied from an ink-supplying reservoir 18, is directed to a contact point of a pair of rollers from a particulate generating part 17, the direction of which is made to accord with the rotating direction of the rollers. The part 17 is comprised of a two-fluid nozzle 17a and a sonic vibrator. The ink supplied from an ink pump 15 through a duct 16 is atomized, and the resultant particulates are supplied to a gap between a pair of the ink rollers 21, 22 in the same direction as the rotating direction of the rollers. The atomization of the ink prevents the trouble that the ink is not applied to the rollers. In addition, since the ink is atomized, digestion of the ink at the roller group is improved, and the number of ink rollers arranged on the upstream of a form cylinder 24 can be reduced.
