PURPOSE: To prevent the thickness of ink film on the inking roller of a group of ink form roller from being increased at the time of no impression by making an arrangement so that the inking soller is moved away from a plate cylinder and at least one place, one of ink form roolers is moved away from others at the time of no impression.

CONSTITUTION: It is arranged so that an inking roller 1 is moved away from a plate cylinder 2, form rollers 6, 7 among form rollers are moved away from a form roller 9 and a form roller 8 is moved away from a form roller 10 at the time of no impression. Also, a feed roller 4 is moved away from an ink fountain roller 5. By this arrangement, an increase in thickness of ink film at the portion of the inking roller is considerably reduced and the density of ink on a printed matter in the beginning of resumption of printing becomes substantially normal and printing performance in the initial stage of resumption of printing is improved.
