Abstract:

To provide an ink for writing utensils for users to make a toning as desired by reacting colorant pellets and a mixed solvent with each other in the reservoir in using the ink, to provide writing utensils using the ink, and to provide a method for producing the writing utensils.

The ink comprises colorant pellets and a mixed solvent comprising a solvent for the pellets, a resin and an additive, wherein the pellets are a mixture of a carbonate, an organic acid, a saccharide and a coloring material and are hardened under pressure. When this ink is to be used, the pellets and the mixed solvent are reacted with each other. The writing utensils are such that the reservoir is filled with three kinds of the colorant pellets using red, blue and yellow coloring materials and the mixed solvent and a pen lead-bearing holder is assembled via an ink-adjusting element on the opening end of the reservoir. The method for producing the writing utensils is also provided.
