To expand a combined inking device and dampening arrangement for a printing machine, especially sheet offset printer, in which a bridge roller 5 of its connection/separation being free contacts a roller 4 of the inking device and/or a roller 3 of the dampening arrangement and is connected to a control section 6 by which the movement of contact and estrangement of the bridge roller 5 from at least one of the rollers 3 and 4 is made possible, and to eliminate a washing process having a problem of time and printing loss at the time of just making a print using an ink easily reacting with water.
The bridge roller 5 is previously set to be capable of connecting/separating at the time of inputting being possible during the printing operation by the control section 6. At this time, the switch of a blower 9 provided for the inking device is arranged to be turned on when the bridge roller 5 is contacting the inking roller 4 and the dampening roller 3.
