Abstract:
To suppress a recording medium from floating with a simple structure.SOLUTION: A printer 100 comprises: a platen 16 having a placement surface 16P on which a recording medium 5 is placed; and a suppressing member 70 which is provided to be slidable in a main scanning direction Y with respect to the platen 16, and prevents the recording medium 5 placed on the platen 16 from floating. The suppressing member 70 comprises: a plate-like member 72 which has a first plate part 72A which is positioned above the placement surface 16P and prevents the recording medium 5 from floating, and a second plate part 72B which is extended downward from an end part at one side in a sub scanning direction X of the first plate part 72A, and a portion of which is positioned below the placement surface 16P; and a holding member 76 which is held between the platen 16 and the second plate part 72B, and holds the end part at the one side in the sub scanning direction X of the first plate part 72A, on the platen 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
