To provide an inkjet head cleaning device which performs a cleaning work suitable to the direction of a head in an inkjet head cleaning process, and an inkjet head cleaning method.

The inkjet head cleaning device rotates a rotary portion of a fixed table supporting an inkjet head, performs cleaning work suitable to the direction of the head and removes dust and bubbles in the head. The device also observes and inspects nozzles by jetting a first cleaning solution by an inspection device. Furthermore, the cleaning device is shut off from the atmosphere to eliminate an influence of wind from outside during cleaning work, and prevents a cleaning solution from adhering to a human body and scattering around.
