The inkjet head has the actuator in which a plurality of grooves are arranged parallel, a cover plate forming ink channels corresponding to each of the grooves respectively by covering the upper faces of the plurality of grooves, and the nozzle plate adhered to the front end face of the actuator and the front end face of the cover plate with adhesive and in which nozzles corresponding the ink channels are formed, and discharges ink individually from the nozzles by applying pressure to the ink in the ink channels by deforming each of side walls forming the grooves of the actuator. Hole for releasing air is formed in the adhered face of the nozzle plate facing at least one of the front face of the actuator and the front face of the cover plate.
