Abstract:
To heat an ink head faster.SOLUTION: A printer 10 comprises: an enclosure 12 in which an inner space 12S is formed; an ink head 30 which is provided in the inner space 12S, and injects photosetting ink to a recording medium 5 placed on a table 35; ultraviolet irradiation devices 41, 42 which are provided in the inner space 12S, and can irradiate the photosetting ink discharged onto the recording medium 5 with light; a first temperature measuring device 51 which measures a head temperature Th as a temperature of the ink head 30; and a controller 70 which controls the ink head 30 and ultraviolet irradiation devices 41, 42. The controller 70 comprises: a first determination part 74 which determines whether the head temperature Th is equal to or higher than a printable temperature Tp; and a light irradiation part 77 which irradiates, when the head temperature Th is lower than the printable temperature Tp, the ultraviolet irradiation devices 41, 42 with light to raise an inner temperature Ts as a temperature in the inner space 12S.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
