Abstract:
To detect a curing degree of photo-curing ink.SOLUTION: A printer 10 comprises an ink head 31 which discharges photo-curing ink, ultraviolet light irradiation devices 41, 42 which irradiate the photo-curing ink with light, a piezoelectric element 52, a rod-like member 54 which is provided to contact the cured photo-curing ink as the piezoelectric element 52 is applied with a first voltage to vibrate, and a control device 80. The control device 80 comprises a first reception part 85 which receives a second voltage before the rod-like member 54 comes into contact with the cured photo-curing ink, a second reception part 86 which receives a third voltage when the rod-like member 54 comes into contact with the cured photo-curing ink, and a detection part 87 which detects a curing degree of the cured photo-curing ink based upon the received second voltage and third voltage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
