To provide an inkjet recorder capable of improving the hardenability of an optical curing ink while improving the quality of printing.

The inkjet recorder includes a conveying means for conveying a recording medium, an inkjet recording head for discharging the optical curing ink on the recording medium conveyed by the conveying means, a light irradiation device for irradiating a light to the optical curing ink discharged on the recording medium by the inkjet recording head, and an inert gas supply apparatus for allowing the vicinity of light irradiation device to be atmosphere of low oxygen density. The inkjet recorder is equipped with an inert gas cooling device for feeding the cooled inert gas to the inert gas supply apparatus. The inert gas supply apparatus supplies the cooled inert gas supplied from the inert gas cooling device to the vicinity of the optical curing ink discharged on the recording medium conveyed by the conveying means. The light irradiation device hardens the optical curing ink discharged on the recording medium by light irradiation.
