To provide an inkjet recorder enabling a construction of abnormality detection to be efficiently applied to an assembled product.
When the abnormality is detected in an abnormality detection part 200, a pulse (Max 5 V) generated from a detection pulse generator 210 is input to a charging/discharging circuit 220, and the charging/discharging circuit 220 charges/discharges a capacity component (PZT) on the head side via a resistor R1 according to the input pulse. An output wave detector 240 detects a voltage value due to the charge/discharge after a predetermined time period, and inputs the result in a detection result reader 250 of a main control part 101. The detection result reader 250 compares the detected voltage by referring to a corresponding table where a combination of a preliminarily determined voltage value and a defective nozzle number is stored to calculate the number of the defective nozzles.
