Abstract:

To provide an inkjet recorder of a relatively low cost which can perform both ordinary image printing and decoration printing by a simple configuration.

The ink jet recorder can perform both ordinary printing and decoration printing because it is provided with at least one ordinary print mode of a selecting use/non-use of a transparent ink or a mask to be used according to a various recording media or grades, and a decoration print mode of giving a decorative effect by performing printing separately from the ordinary print mode by using the transparent ink while changing the amount of transparent ink to be imparted only in a part to be decorated.
