Abstract:
To solve the problem that a recording medium is cut at a position deviated from a predetermined cut position thereof when cutting the medium in a conveying direction.SOLUTION: An inkjet recording device comprises: conveying means that conveys a recording medium in a conveying direction; a recording head that records an image on the recording medium conveyed by the conveying means; and a slitter, provided at a downstream of the recording head in the conveying direction, which cuts off the recording medium in the conveying direction in response to conveyance of the medium by the conveying means. When the recording medium is conveyed by the conveying means, the recording head records an image on a space between a tip and a predetermined position of the recording medium in the conveying direction, after the slitter cuts off a portion from the tip to the predetermined position of the recording medium.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
