PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording device that can inhibit deterioration in image quality by a simple configuration.SOLUTION: The inkjet recording device 1 includes: a transportation part 4; a recording head 51; a maintenance mechanism; and a control part 9. The transportation part 4 transports a material to be recorded P. The recording head 51 ejects an ink droplet toward the material to be recorded P transported by the transportation part 4. The maintenance mechanism executes maintenance for the recording head 51. The control part 9 operates the maintenance mechanism when determining a width of a material to be recorded P of a subsequent recording subject is larger than a width of a material to be recorded P where an image has been precedently recorded.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
