To provide an inkjet recording ink which can give a recorded image excellent in fixability and water resistance and also excellent in image durability such as light resistance and ozone resistance, to provide an ink set, and to provide an inkjet recording method for giving a high-quality recording by using the inkjet recording ink.
The inkjet recording ink is an ink for hot-melt type inkjet recording including liquefying an ink by heating and jetting the molten ink onto a recording medium to form recording dots thereon, wherein the ink at least contains colorants and at least one of the colorants has an oxidation potential nobler than 1.0 V (vs SCE). The inkjet recording method performs recording by thermally melting the ink and jetting the molten ink through jet nozzles by applying energy thereto according to the recording signals.
