Abstract:

To provide an inkjet recording ink that is excellent in image quality to regular paper and is in good discharge stability.

An inkjet recording ink contains at least a pigment, water, a water-soluble organic solvent, and a urethane resin, wherein a content of the urethane resin is 3 to 10 mass%. The inkjet recording ink further contains at least one selected from a group comprising methoxypropionic acid amide, butoxypropionic acid amide, dioxolane alcohol, and oxetane alcohol, wherein a total content of acid amides and alcohols is 10 to 20 mass%. A difference in viscosity at 25°C between viscosity when shearing speed is 1 (1/s) and viscosity when the shearing speed is 100,000 (1/s) is 10 (mPa_s) or larger.
