Abstract:

To provide an inkjet recording liquid containing a new metal chelate pigment; an inkjet recording method using the inkjet recording liquid; a color toner, a color filter and an optical information recording medium each containing the metal chelate pigment; and an optical information recording method using the optical information recording medium; further, to provide a method for producing the new metal chelate pigment and the metal chelate pigment produced by the production method.

This inkjet recording liquid comprises at least one kind of metal chelate pigment obtained by reacting a pigment chelatable with a metal ion at two or more dentates and a chelatable compound.
