Title:
INKJET RECORDING METAL CHELATE PIGMENT, AQUEOUS INKJET RECORDING LIQUID USING THE SAME AND INKJET RECORDING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2003096323
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To obtain an inkjet recording metal chelate pigment which has good printing quality level and causes high density recorded images with a clear color tone, and excels in light resistance, resistance to indoor discoloration and fading, and storage stability, an aqueous inkjet recording liquid using the same, and to provide an inkjet recording method.

The inkjet recording metal chelate pigment is composed of a water-soluble azo metal chelate compound formed from an azo based compound having one or more hydrophilic groups in the molecule which is represented by formula (1) (wherein an X1-containing heterocycle is a triazole ring, or the like; and Ar1 is a naphthyl group having a chelating group) and a metallic element. The aqueous inkjet recording liquid contains an aqueous medium and this metal chelate pigment. The inkjet recording method uses this recording liquid.
