Abstract:
To provide an inkjet recording method using a pretreatment liquid which improves an optical density of a recorded article in comparison with a conventional method.
The inkjet recording method includes: a pretreatment step of coating a medium 10 to be recorded with the pretreatment liquid to form coating parts 60 and 70 before inkjet recording; and a recording step of delivering a pigment ink on the coating parts formed by an inkjet system to perform recording. In this method, the pretreatment liquid includes a pigment flocculating agent and water, and the pigment flocculating agent includes a component (i) including at least one of succinic acid and acetic acid, and a component (ii) including an alkali metal halide.
