To provide an inkjet recording method exhibiting high discharge stability and giving a high-resolution image even in a case of using a high productivity inkjet head and a high curability ink composition; and to provide printed matter recorded by the inkjet recording method.
The inkjet recording method includes: an image-forming step of forming an image on a medium to be recorded by discharging an ink composition containing a polymerizable compound and a polymerization initiator and having surface tension within the range of 34.0-40.0 mN/m, using an inkjet head having a nozzle plate with a face on the ink-discharge side treated so as to have affinity for ink; and a curing step of curing the ink composition by emitting an active radiation on the discharged ink composition. There is also provided printed matter recorded by the inkjet recording method.
