Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording sheet for printing newspaper which is not affected by hydrophobic and hydrophilic substances mixed into a base sheet, can suppress the occurrence of feathering and voids at the time of inkjet printing, prevents strike-through of ink, and improves uniformity of a solid printed part.SOLUTION: An inkjet recording sheet for printing newspaper which is printed by an inkjet method is formed by applying and drying a surface treatment liquid that contains a water-soluble polymer and a guanidine-based cation resin on at least one surface of a base sheet that contains 40 mass% or more of a deinked pulp in the total pulp constituting the base sheet, and does not substantially contain a pigment.SELECTED DRAWING: None
