PURPOSE: To prevent disturbance of an air flow just before a horizontal inlet inside a working space of a safety cabinet.
CONSTITUTION: A safety cabinet is formed of a cabinet main body 1 having a door 3 in the front and a working space 2 formed inside, a high-performance filter 6 provided on the upper side of the working space of the cabinet main body, a blower 7 sending air under a pressure to this high-performance filter 6 and of a working stage 5 provided on the lower side. An inlet 8 on the front side of the working stage 5 draws in air inside the working space 2 and outdoor air from an opening 16 of the door 3, while an inlet 13 of a dividing wall 10 draws air into the working space 2. The cabinet main body 1 is provided with a communication passage 11 through which the air flowing out from the inlets 8 and 13 provided on the front and back sides of the working stage 5 is drawn by the blower 7, while an exhaust passage for exhausting the air outside the cabinet main body 1 through a highperformance filter 14 is provided on the downstream side of the blower 7. On the downstream side of the inlet 13 of the dividing wall 10 of the working stage 5, a partition plate 18 guiding the air downward is provided.
