To provide an inlet valve miniaturizing the size and solving a problem of the conventional inlet valve wherein the area of a lower part of a valve body is formed larger than the sum of the area of an opening part and the area of an inlet port.
The lower part of a valve chest 7 of the valve body 8 is provided with a lower side opening part 4 communicated with a ventilation tube 2. A bottomed cylindrical body 16 having a valve seat part 18 on its circumferential edge part of an upper part opening 17 is provided with in the valve chest 7 of the valve body 8. A valve element 25 opening/closing the upper part opening 17 of the bottomed cylindrical body 16 by attaching to/detaching from the valve seat part 18 is provided in the valve chest 7 to be capable of advancing/retreating therein. The inlet port 21 communicated with the side part of the bottomed cylindrical body 16 is opened to the side part of the valve body 8. There is no necessity to secure a space for providing the inlet port 21 in the lower part of the valve body 8 so as to miniaturize the inlet valve 1.
