Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inner magnetic shield material for a TV cathode-ray tube (CRT) by which excellent press workability, corrosion resistance and spot weldability can be produced and a film can perfectly be decomposed by combustion in a CRT sealing step and a high corrosion resistant film like a blackened film can be formed without forming hematite (red rust).
SOLUTION: A 0.1 to 6μm thickness film of an organic resin composed essentially of C, H or C, H, O or C, H, O and N is formed on the surface of a cold rolled steel strip or a pickled hot rolled steel strip each having 0.2 to 3μm surface roughness Ra. Either or both of (a) 2 to 50 mass%, in total, of at least one coupling agent and (b) 2 to 80 mass%, in total, of at least one metal oxide selected from SiO2, Fe3O4, Fe2O3, Ni-O, Zr-O, Cr2O3 and Al2O3 are incorporated into the organic resin film.
