Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enhance the rate of operation and to stabilize surface accuracy or thickness accuracy by providing an angle sensor detecting the angle of inclination of an ingot with respect to an inner peripheral edge and a control unit for controlling a pivoting table and a swinging table so that the detected value of the sensor is always in a required range.

CONSTITUTION: A slicing machine is equipped with a machine body 1 having an inner peripheral edge 2 whose revolving shaft is horizontally provided thereto in a liftable manner, the pivoting table 6 provided to the base table 5 of the body 1 so as to be pivotably around a vertical axis and the swinging table 14 provided on the pivoting table 6 so as to be swingable around the horizontal axis parallel to the plane of rotation of the inner peripheral edge 2. A holder 17 holding an ingot 16 in a state advancing and receding with respect to the inner peripheral edge 2 is provided on the swinging table 14 and an angle sensor 18 detecting the inclination of the ingot 16 with respect to the inner peripheral edge 2 is provided to the holder 17 and the movement of the pivoting table 6 and the swinging table 14 is controlled by the control unit in an operation box 19 so that the detected value of the angle sensor 18 always enters a required range.
