PURPOSE: To make adjustable the pass line even after the rolls are assembled in the housing, by installing in the outer housing an elevator connected to the inner stand.
CONSTITUTION: The rotary shaft 12 is rotated for horizontally shifting the vertical roll to adjust the set interval. The horizontal rolls 3, 4, and vertical rolls 8, 9, are set in the inner stand 1 which is fixed to the truck 16. The elevator 17 vertically shifts the lower horizontal roll 4 so as to minutely adjust its position correspondingly to the rolled material. The inner stand 1 is connected to the moving part of the elevator 21 which drives the inner stand 1 to elevate; hereby, the pass line is adjusted. Accordingly, the adjustment is possible outside of the line, and also, is possible after the inner stand 1 is assembled in the outer housing 22, by vertically shifting the inner stand 1 depending on th elevators 17, 21; besides, the movement of only the chock 6 of the lower horizontal roll 4 is also possible.
