To improve the bending strength of a material and obtain an excellent strength and fracture toughness without deteriorating the processability and productivity by including a Ca-containing crystal substance in an inorganic amorphous substance of an oxide containing at least Al, Si and Ca in an inorganic amorphous powder containing the inorganic amorphous substance.
This inorganic amorphous powder comprises an inorganic amorphous substance containing a crystal substance and has preferably 1.6-200 m2/g specific surface area and 2.3-3.0 specific gravity. The inorganic amorphous substance contains at least one kind of element of Na, Mg, P, S, K, Ti, Mn, Fe and Zn in addition to Al, Si and Ca and preferably comprises one or more kinds of oxides selected from Na2O, MgO, P2O5, SO3, K2O, TiO2, MnO, Fe2O3 or ZnO in addition to three kinds of oxides of Al2O3, SiO2 and CaO. The inorganic amorphous powder preferably has a composition of 5-51 wt.% of Al2O3, 8-53 wt.% of SiO2 and 10-63 wt.% of CaO based on the total weight.
