Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a composition, excellent in rigidity and suitable as injection molded, extrusion molded, vacuum formed products, etc., by blending a crystalline polyolefin with an inorganic filler and a metallic salt of a phosphorus compound. CONSTITUTION:A polyolefin composition is obtained by blending (A) 100 pts.wt. composition prepared by blending a crystalline polyolefin with 10-30wt.% inorganic filler (e.g. talc or mica) with (B) 0.05-1 pt.wt., preferably 0.05-0.5 pt.wt. phosphinate-based compound e.g. barium bis(1'-hydroxy-2,2'- biphenylenephosphinate)] expressed by the formula [Ar1 and Ar2 are arylene, alkylarylene, etc.; M is barium or aluminum; (n) is the valence of M].
