Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an inorganic laser element which is elongated in service life and enhanced in characteristics.
CONSTITUTION: Laser dye is confined in cyclodextrin to obtain clathrate compound, and the compound concerned is dispersed into inorganic medium. As laser dye is confined in syclodextrin, non-excited dye dimer is prevented from being formed, and thus laser dye is protected against photo-deterioration and enhanced in light-resistance.
