To obtain an inorganic reaction type composition exhibiting operation suitability and hardening accelerator in use especially for a concrete secondary product by mixing sodium silicate of a specific composition with a specified amount of cement-based powder containing amorphous silica.
Sodium silicate of the formula mNa2O.nSiO2.xH2O (n/m≤1) is used as the sodium silicate. Cement-based powder is mixed with 1.5-20 wt.% of the sodium silicate. An aqueous synthetic resin emulsion having stability to cement and sodium silicate is selected as the aqueous synthetic resin emulsion constituting a coating material. Especially a normal-temperature cross-linking type emulsion is excellent in durability, weather resistance and water resistance. The amount of the resin emulsion used is 10-70 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the cement-based powder. A compound of this invention is applied and heated to quicken drying and to accelerate a cement reaction. The heating is carried out preferably at ≥30°C.
