To provide an input device placing tool capable of effectively utilizing a space on a desk at the time of input work and being attached to a general working desk.

When inputting data with a mouse, after a placing pedestal 4 of an input device placing tool 1 is temporarily drawn to the front side of a desk A and turned almost horizontal to a top Aa, the data are inputted while placing an input device on the placing pedestal 4. Therefore, at unnecessary time, the placing pedestal 4 is housed almost parallel with the side part of the desk A along with the side part inside the edge part of the top Aa. Thus, when inputting data with a keyboard or performing any work excepting for inputting, the work is not disturbed or obstructed and the space on the desk can be effectively utilized. The general working desk can be also used as a desk for input work and desk work.
