To provide an input device for traffic analysis and counting that is miniaturized by arranging keys and a display unit optimally, and that allows intuitive operations for increased operability while making it easy to check counts.

The input device for traffic analysis and counting includes a key input unit 1 having three keys corresponding to right turn, straight, and left turn for counting and inputting three moving directions, i.e., right turn, straight, and left turn, for one kind of moving element, and a data display unit 2 designed to display the three moving directions, right turn, straight, and left turn individually for the one kind of moving element. For four kinds of moving elements, the three keys of the key input unit 1 corresponding to right turn, straight, and left turn and the different display portions of the data display unit 2 for the three different moving directions are arranged in order horizontally, and the four kinds of moving elements are arranged vertically so that a total of twelve keys and a total of twelve display portions are arranged in a matrix of four by three. The data display unit 2 is positioned above the key input unit 1.
