Abstract:

To solve a problem wherein switches cannot be quickly grouped when the necessity of performing a switch operation in a grouping state is generated during a traveling.

This input device for a vehicle is provided with an operation means for performing operation of on-vehicle equipment by switching a plurality of indexes displayed on a screen display device into a selection state in the vicinity of a driver's seat. The operation means is constituted of a leg part and a palm supporting part provided by being extended in a horizontal direction from an upper end of the leg part. A plurality of operation switches are provided on a side surface opposite to the extended direction of the leg part. A dial for an operation is provided on a side surface of the palm supporting part. By operating the plurality of operation switches and the dial for the operation, the indexes are switched to the selection state by moving the indexes displayed on the screen display device.
