Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure correct input by a touch panel irrespective of a difference in the height of users' eye lines.SOLUTION: An input device of the invention comprises: a display unit for displaying an input screen that includes a plurality of key images for input; and an input unit having a transparent touch panel arranged at an angle in the vertical direction with respect to the display surface of the input screen, and accepting the input of a key that corresponds to a pressed key image as the touch panel is pressed at the position of a key image observed on the touch panel. The input unit determines the coordinates of a plurality of key images, with one or more reference point coordinates used as a point of reference that include a first reference point coordinate acquired as the touch panel is pressed at a position on the touch panel where a first key image corresponding to a first reference key in the input screen is observed, and when a discretionary key to be inputted among the plurality of key images is pressed, specifies that the key to be inputted corresponds to either of the plurality of key images.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
