To provide an input device which is excellent in input operability by installing a rotatable or slidable position input part and an input determination button arranged in the neighborhood of this, and which is high in input position precision by suppressing input position deviation in an input operation.

The input device includes: an input device part 100 equipped with a position adjusting part having a rotary detector 125 for detecting an input position according to movement or rotation and an X and Y linear encoder 170 and a voice coil motor 160 as a driving part for adjusting the input position and a push switch 126 as a position input part integrally installed with the position adjusting part for inputting a position determined by the rotary detector 125 and the X and Y linear encoder 170 according to depression; and a control part 200 for, when the output signal of the position input part is equal to or more than a first threshold, generating a suction holding force based on a difference between the input position of the input device part 100 and the input position on the depression start point of time, and for controlling the position of the input device part 100 to the position of the depression start point of time.
