PURPOSE: To apply the substantially same pressure to the position setting means and to actuate a switch regardless of these position setting means by providing a connection mechanism composed of at least two plates which are hinged together.

CONSTITUTION: A connection mechanism composed of a pair of plates 20 and 21 which are hinged together by a hinge 22 is attached under a printed circuit board 14 of a digitizer 4. The flanges 29 and 30 are formed along the lower edges of both plates 20 and 21 and supported on the bottom surface of a recess part 8 of a housing 9. An actuating rod 31 is molded integrally with the plate 20 under the hinge 22 and touches a switch 33 through an open hole 32 formed at the bottom of the part 8. When it is desired that a certain function is actuated, an upper member 12 is pushed with high pressure and this pressure is transmitted to the switch 33 via the connection mechanism composed of the plates 20 and 21. Thus the substantially same pressure is applied to all positions set on the digitizer 4. Then the switch 33 is actuated.
